What is a ‘Parent Network’? Parents and guardians sign a pledge to provide and support places for youth to socialize away from pressure to use tobacco, alcohol and both non-prescribed prescription drugs and illegal substances.
What is the goal of a ‘Parent Network’? Our goal is to create a network of parents, educators and community representatives within our communities and region. We want parents throughout the area to be able to turn to one another to support their children in making healthy choices. Parents provide positive role models for safe and healthy socializing. This can effectively counter balance the pressures that youth have every day to make unhealthy choices.
